Ahmedabad: The state government has decided to open schools in Gujarat after Diwali. According to sources, the state government is preparing to start schools from November 23. For this the parents will be given the option whether they want to send their child to school or teach online.
However, strict social adherence will have to be followed after the schools open. Schools will only run with 50 percent attendance. I.e. students will be called in turn. Recently a meeting was held between the top officials of the state education department and the officials of the health department on the matter of starting schools.
Possibility to start standard 6 to 12 classes.The education department will start schools from standard 6 to 12 in the first phase, sources said. However, classes of Std.
80 percent do not have to be present.As per the rule of the education department, 80% attendance in the child's school is mandatory. But this rule will not be followed in the current year. As students also have to be called to the school from time to time, 80% attendance is not possible.

- Adherence to social distance in students during school entry and exit
- Administrators will have to call different classes of students at different times
- Separate weekly calendar for each class for attendance
- The student cannot be forced to attend school compulsorily
- Schools with a large number of students will have to do two short shifts
- Schools should also reduce the teaching time to less than 5 hours
- No ceremonies, gatherings or meetings should be held in the school
- Meetings with parents must also be done online
- All the rules and protocols of the guideline must be followed if any student or staff in the school comes up with a positive corona.
