Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a big announcement in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Nitin Gadkari has said that the government is working on a plan to eliminate all toll plazas in the next one year. In the future, with the help of technology, people will have to pay as much toll as they will walk on the road.
In fact, BSP MP Kunwar Danish Ali from Amroha raised the issue of having a toll plaza in the municipal boundary on the road near Garh Mukteshwar.
Replying to this, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that many toll plazas were built in the previous government to add a little more cream to the contracts of road projects, which are on the city limits.

Now the government is working on a technology in which the camera will take your photo with the help of GPS where you will get on the highway and where you will get off the highway, you will have to pay the same distance toll.

Right now the central government has implemented the facility of fastag on all national highways, so that vehicles can automatically pay tolls at toll plazas without queuing.
