Free Textbook Scheme By Government Resolution dated 7th October 2015, Under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swawalamban Yojana (MYSY), all the students studying in government and grant in aid secondary and higher secondary schools are provided with one set of free textbooks per year irrespective of their category and without considering the annual income of their parents/guardian. Provision of 8000.00 lakhs is made as current Item in 2019-20 budgets.
