Shakuntala Devi was a writer and a mental calculator. In the 1982 Guinness Book of World Records edition, he made a name for himself with his quick calculations. He was also an astrologer and novelist. His first book, The World of Homosexuals, is considered to be the first study of homosexuality in India. Born on November 4, 1929 in Bengaluru, Shakuntala Devi passed away on April 21, 2013.
