It will be held from Thursday, July 1, 2018In the high level meeting held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, a comprehensive review was carried out regarding the planning of the existing corona transition of Std-12 board examination in special circumstances.
Examinations will be conducted in strict compliance with Corona Transition Control Guidelines S.O.P.According to the established system of every year, a three-hour examination will be held in Science Stream Part-I with 50 marks multiple choice MCQ OMR method and in Part-II, 50 marks in descriptive written form.
A descriptive written examination of 100 marks will be taken as per the system established in general stream.
Students should have an examination center near their school - more examination centers will be started so that students do not have to travel long distances during the Koro period.
For students who are absent from the examination due to corona related or other unavoidable reasons, the examination will be held with new question papers of all subjects and new time after the first day of the original examination.
As per the guidance of the Chief Minister, a maximum of 20 candidates will appear for the examination in a classroom with the concern of not spreading the corona infection among the students.Arrangements including social distance, mandatory mask as well as thermal gun sanitizer will be ensured.
Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has taken an important decision in the wider interest of Std-1 students of the stateAs per this decision of the Chief Minister, this year's annual examinations of Std. 1 Science and General Stream conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will be held in the usual manner from next 1/4/201, Thursday.
A high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has taken this important decision after detailed discussion on holding board examinations of Std-1 in the special circumstances of the current Corona transition in the state.
Giving details in this regard, the Minister of Education Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and the Minister of State for Education Smt. Students are to sit for this examHe said that the Chief Minister had instructed the Education Department in this meeting to conduct the board examinations of Std-1R, which are important for shaping the future careers of the students of the state, in these special circumstances of Koro transition with strict adherence to the Kovid-12 protocol.
The Minister of Education said that this examination will be conducted every year as per the established system of Science Stream Part-I with 50 marks Multiple Choice Type (MCQ) OMR method and Part-II Descriptive Written Form 50 marks examination will be held for 3 hours.
Similarly, in Std-12 general stream, according to the established system of every year, an 8-hour examination in the form of descriptive written form of 100 marks will be conducted.
Mr. Chudasama added that the education department will ensure that the students sitting for the examination maintain social distance, use masks compulsorily and also adhere to the transition control guideline of cores including sanitizers and thermal guns at the examination centers.
The Education Minister also said that the Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani had made a persuasive suggestion in this meeting that the entire examination system should be arranged with the concern that the transition of Corona would not spread among the students and their future would not be ruined. Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has also taken a student-friendly decision to increase the number of examination centers
For this purpose, the number of examination centers in the state will be increased this year. In which talukas sufficient number of students will be available and if there is no examination center in such taluka then examination center will be started there.
For both science stream and general stream examinations, arrangements will be made in each examination room for a maximum of 20 students to sit in the examination room. Will be equipped with a camera.
In this high level meeting, keeping in view the future of the students, it has been decided that the students who have been absent due to corona transition or absent due to corona related or other unavoidable reasons during the examination, the original examination i.e. After Rup Day, all subjects will be re-examined with new timetable and new question paper
The Education Minister added that the examination for repeater students of Std. 10 will also be conducted in the same manner
