Good news for students! School-college starts in Gujarat after Diwali, CM in cabinet tells minister - 'prepare'
After Diwali vacation in Gujarat, colleges, institutes and schools in the field of higher education are likely to start. In a cabinet meeting held on Wednesday after the by-elections, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani asked Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama to prepare after discussing all aspects with the Education Secretary.
The chief minister also sought feedback from cabinet members, including legislators and people's representatives for resumption of physical education, the top official said, adding that corona cases have now resurfaced in Delhi.
If such a situation does not arise in Gujarat, a decision will be taken to start schools and colleges within two weeks. In which, first of all, in the field of colleges, colleges and higher education, the program will be announced to move towards starting schools from Std. 12 to 9 and then in descending order.
In order to maintain social distance in the classroom, the teaching work of the current academic year will be extended under the new rules by calling the students in two-three parts in a day.
The state health department is also claiming a reduction in the number of drugs, injections and oxygen used for the global epidemic of Covid-19 after the number of daily cases of coronavirus-infected citizens in Gujarat, hospitalized patients and mortality decreased.
Online education has been running in the state for four months. With the exception of urban-semi-urban areas, online education has not been successful in rural as well as government education based areas. The curriculum has had to be reduced.
As all these conditions are an obstacle for the formation of students, there are demands to start a school-college for higher education.
